  • Frozen yoghurt: Recently this type of ice cream has gained much fame. Although some of the ingredients of frozen yoghurt are the same as traditional ice cream, the proportion of fat is much lower. Due to the presence of yoghurt in it, it has a tart taste.
  • Sorbet: The amount of dairy in sorbet is almost negligible. As frozen berries and sweetened water is utilized while making sorbet, so its texture is very light and so is its flavour.

According to the majority of people, sorbets are vegan but there is no authenticity in them. Sometimes to hold the mixture together a bit better, egg whites are used.

  • Sherbet: Sherbet has much resemblance to sorbet. It is a fruit-based frozen dessert but it also contains dairy. Fruit juice, milk or cream, egg whites, and in some cases, gelatin are used to make sherbet.

  • Ice cream rolls: After heating the ice cream roll base, oreo cookies are dipped into hot ice cream. That ice cream is rolled and then the rolled ice cream is grabbed with some tongs and placed in your chilled bowl.
