  • Add apple cider vinegar to your water and drink it, this method does not work for everyone but try to add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a small cup of water.
  • Take small meals instead of one or two big meals.
  • Do some physical activity or exercises, moving increases bowel movement and helps in moving gasses through your digestive tract.
  • Do some yoga, specific yoga poses to aid the passage of gas through your digestive tract.
  • Take probiotic supplements.
  • Consume food high in prebiotics. Prebiotics are plant fibers present in many fruits and vegetables, like bananas, garlic, and legumes. In case of irritable bowel syndrome or IBS avoid prebiotics since they can cause digestive problems like diarrhea and gas.
  • Follow a low FODMAP diet. FODMAPs are short-chain carbohydrates or sugars present in certain foods and cause intestinal distress because the small intestine doesn’t absorb them very well, this type of diet is followed by people having IBS. Low FODMAP foods are meat, rice, potato, vegetables like zucchini, lettuce, and fruits like strawberries.
  • Take peppermint as oil, tea, or capsules, it is effective in relieving abdominal cramps and gas.
  • Drink some rose water. Half a shot of rose water can relieve bloating.
  • Eat some ginger along with alleviating nausea, ginger can help in reducing gas.
  • Drinking activated charcoal juice is known to relieve gas.
