Using a basket-style air fryer, you can cook them all at once. They will cook evenly and all you have to do is flip them if necessary so that they cook on all sides. Most of the time, we didn’t even have to flip our basket-style testing since they cooked flawlessly.

Baked items may also be made in the air fryer. You won’t have to heat the oven if you use an air fryer to cook your meal. People who don’t want to turn on the oven during the sweltering summer months or who just want to prepare some cookies at a time can also benefit from this method.

How to cook biscuits in the air fryer?

Everybody loves these Air Fryer biscuits. To prepare these biscuits in an air fryer is to make them slightly healthier but also much easier and quicker than making them the old-fashioned way. No one will ever know they’re gluten-free because of this recipe’s clever substitutions. You may also use normal flour to create them.

It’s necessary to determine how long it will take to cook food in an air fryer because there are so many different models out there.Your air fryer’s cooking time will vary greatly based on the size and kind of your appliance. 

After the first six minutes, check the biscuits to see if they’ve reached the desired doneness. Once you’ve used your air fryer a few times, you’ll be able to gauge the ideal baking time and temperature for your biscuits.

Our recommendation is to fry them slightly “crisper” and golden brown on the exterior to ensure that the biscuits are done completely.

To prevent the biscuits from adhering towards the air fryer basket and racks, use oil spray. 

Putting parchment paper under the biscuits is not recommended since you want the biscuits to cook all the way through. The parchment paper keeps the biscuits from getting as much air as possible under them.

Cook for 6-7 minutes at 330°F/165°C in an air fryer. Remove the biscuits from the baskets by gently wriggling them.

Additional one to three minutes, or till they’re golden brown and done through.

After the last one to three minutes in air frying, you can turn your biscuits to finish them off.


For air fryers with numerous trays, such as those used in ovens, it is best to cook them 1 layer at a time. 

To use the middle rack position, cook only one rack at a time to ensure more equal cooking. Flipping them may still be necessary.

 Cook these in batches if you use a tiny air fryer. After a day in the fridge, you may prepare them the next morning.

The lowest racks are the furthest from the heat source when cooking 2 or 3 racks at a once. As a result, they’ll take longer to bake and come out with more raw middles.

If you place the top rack too close to the heating source, it will become overheated while cooking. You’ll end up overcooking the exterior before the interior is done.

When it comes to oven style, we recommend cooking each tray at the time in the middle position at a temperature of 350°F. Batch cook the remaining biscuits.

To cook 2 racks at once, you must move the racks and flip the biscuits throughout cooking. However, we observed that they did not rise as much as they did when cooked in one layer. 

How to store leftover biscuits?

Biscuits may be kept at room temperature for up to two days after they’ve been baked. To keep them from drying out, place them in a plastic bag with a layer of foil or cling film.

Proper refrigeration keeps them fresh for about one week in the fridge. A strange odor or look should not be served with biscuits.

Wrap the biscuits in plastic wrap or foil or put them in a freezer bag to keep them fresh. They’ll last for roughly two to three months after that.
